Keeping you connected to Palmetto Island State Park!

Attention 2018 Vendors and Demonstrators!

Vendors and Demonstrators

                                                    Registration deadline is January 31!

Registration for the 8th Annual “Stir the Pot: Louisiana Seafood Cook-off and Festival” is now open to all vendors or craftsmen!  Come on out and sell your wares!  The festival is April 7, 2018, from 10:00am – 5:00pm at Palmetto State Park.  In addition to the food prepared by our cook-off teams, there will be silent and live auctions and live music by The Cajun Company Band.

VENDORS: A $75 registration fee entitles vendor to a 10 X 10 space.  All vendors are required to fill out and return both the attached Stir the Pot Festival registration form and the Office of State Parks registration form (disregard the $75 vendor fee on the Office of State Parks form). Submit completed registration forms and fees to reserve your space by January 31, 2018.

In an effort to decrease competition and give you the opportunity to showcase your products, only 1 vendor will be allowed to display/sell the same items. (1 vendors selling handmade furniture, 1 selling Native plants, 1 bird houses, etc.). A location request will be considered and approved according to space available and items offered. Vendors are responsible for compliance with all permits and applicable state or sales tax requirements that may apply.

DEMONSTRATORS: No registration fee applies, however the attached Stir the Pot Festival registration form is required. Submit completed registration forms to reserve your space by January 31, 2018. Promotions and demonstrations only, no sales. Non-profits are welcome to set up and promote their passion. Demonstrators will be set up in the grassy area between the parking lot and splash pad or in the stage side of the event. Duplicate demonstrators will not be allowed.

The festival does not supply tents and tables. No electricity or water connections will be available at sites. Small ‘quiet’ generators are acceptable. Space set up will be allowed between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. All vehicles must be removed from the festival by 9:30 a.m.

Free Advertising! Vendors/Demonstrators who provide pictures or logos via email will be promoted via Facebook and the Newsletter. The sooner you provide information the more exposure you’re likely to get.

Written confirmation of your acceptance and additional event information will be sent to you by email. For more information, contact Brandy Babineaux, 337-652-9247 or bbabino1@gmail.com.
